Dentures are a good option if you need a replacement for missing teeth. Removable dentures can renew the appearance of your smile and make it easier to speak and eat with full confidence. SEDA Dental of Pinecrest can provide either full or partial removable dentures for our patients. Full dentures can replace all the teeth in your upper arch, lower arch, or both while partial dentures leave some of your natural teeth to act as support. At our Pinecrest, FL facility, we will help you decide whether full or partial dentures are best for your needs, and then have them custom made to look natural. You may be an ideal candidate for dentures if you have suffered the loss of many teeth but still have healthy gums and a strong jawbone. If you have natural teeth, these may either be extracted for a full denture or kept with a partial denture. During your consultation, we will examine your mouth and discuss your options based on your needs and budget.
What To Expect
If needed, we will extract any teeth before taking oral impressions, which will be used to make your custom dentures. Partial dentures will be shaded to match your natural teeth for a seamless appearance. Once your dentures are crafted, we will adjust the fit so they are comfortable and secure. We will also go over the best way to care for your new dentures.
It may take some time before your new dentures feel comfortable and natural, but it should eventually be easier to eat and speak normally. If your dentures feel loose, return to SEDA Dental of Pinecrest to have your dentures readjusted. At home, you will need to keep your dentures clean by brushing them twice a day. When you remove your dentures, they should be soaked so they do not dry out. Continue to schedule exams and cleanings at SEDA Dental of Pinecrest so we can check the wear and fit of your dentures and the health of your jaw and gums. We will let you know if you need to have your dentures repaired or replaced, but with proper care, your dentures should last for many years.
If you have dental insurance, part of the cost of your dentures will typically be covered. Our office will contact your insurance company to determine your exact coverage and out-of-pocket expenses. During your consultation, we will customize your treatment plan so your dentures fit both your needs and budget. To help make your dentures affordable, whether you have dental insurance or not, SEDA Dental of Pinecrest accepts many forms of payment, including medical financing.
Enjoy the confidence to eat and speak when your smile is restored with removable dentures. SEDA Dental of Pinecrest is pleased to offer custom-made removable full and partial dentures for our patients.
